The Humane Society of the United States 2017 To the Rescue! Gala


The Humane Society of the United States raised $1.4 million at its annual To the Rescue! Gala at Paramount Studios on April 22, 2017. Pharrell Williams and Noah Cyrus gave musical performances. The fundraiser honored Senator Cory Booker and the late Christina Grimmie. The star packed fundraiser brought in Ashley Olsen, Daisy Fuentes, Diane Keaton, Jaime King, Jane Lynch, Melanie Griffith, Moby, Rooney Mara and several other celebs.

The Humane Society of the United States is a 60 year old animal protection organization. Lupus LA’s 2017 Orange Ball: Rocket To A Cure At The California Science Center


Sharon Stone, Melissa Joan Hart, Gilles Marini and other fellow celebrities attended the Lupus LA’s 2017 Orange Ball: Rocket to a Cure at the California Science Center in Los Angeles on April 22, 2017. Guests enjoyed dinner, an awards ceremony and live music. Sharon Stone hosted the auction that will benefit the foundation. Lupus LA’s 2017 Orange Ball raised awareness and much-needed funds to find a cure for a disease affects over 1.5 million people in the United States. 

Adam Selkowitz received the Loop Award. Selkowitz is the founder of Waterfall Films and serves as Chairman of Lupus LA, he was diagnosed with Lupus at age 16. Adam Selkowitz lives in Los Angeles with his wife Laurie. Marta Bloom and Ron Bloom received the Daniel J. Wallace Founder’s Award, for their persistent efforts in helping medical research and those in need through philanthropy. Ron Bloom co-founded PervasiveTV in 2016, a new entertainment network which focuses on targeted news and entertainment content. Eli Lilly and Company were awarded with the Medical Visionary Award, which recognizes organizations that better the lives of lupus patients. Eli Lilly and Company’s greatest accomplishments are discovering medicines that help people live longer, healthier, more active lives.

2017 COACHELLA PARTY RECAP: The Lucky Lounge Presents Desert Jams


During Coachella Weekend 1, guests indulged in the Lucky Lounge Presents Desert Jams festivities with musical performances by Noah Cyrus and pampering hosted by Homeaway.
