Estelle And Major Attend The 2018 UNCF Los Angeles Mayor’s Masked Ball


The 2018 UNCF Los Angeles Mayor’s Masked Ball was a big hit at the JW Marriott LA Live featuring a marching band, circus performers and a choir performance. Singer Estelle, musical artist MAJOR, actress Dawnn Lewis, Aldis Hodge and Edwin Hodge were among the many notable guests that attended the annual gala on February 24, 2018. The evening honored the great achievements of Dr. La-Doris McClaney and Lena Kennedy with the UNCF Masked Award. The Mayor’s Masked Ball is hosted in several cities across the nation on the same evening and is one of the largest events organized by the UNCF. The fête celebrated community involvement advancement of success of those determined to obtain a higher education. The evening highlighted UNCF’s signature parade of celebrities and dignitaries, a live auction, dining and dancing. The gala concluded with a live performance by MAJOR.
