Best Bites: Fogo de Chão Brazilian Steakhouse Denver

Standard

Situated within walking distance of the Metropolitan of Contemporary Art Denver, Union Station and the Pepsi Center; Fogo de Chão Denver is an exceptional choice for lunch or dinner. This Downtown Denver Brazilian churrascaria (which is the Portuguese translation for steakhouse) offers a superior fine dining experience. A wide array of meats, side dishes, market table selections, desserts and authentic Brazilian beverages certainly make it a delectable feast.

Superb cuts of beef include – Picanha (the prime portion of top sirloin), Filet Mignon Tenderloin, Alcatra Top Sirloin, Fraldinha (bottom sirloin), Beef Ancho (rib eye) and Costela (beef ribs). Fogo de Chão also has varieties of lamb, pork, chicken and seafood. The Market Table’s vast selection of vegetables, salad and soups compliment the succulent meats. Classic Brazilian side dishes such as garlic mashed potatoes and caramelized bananas enrich the experience. Grilled pineapple, only served at the Denver location, cleanses the palate between different bites.

We recommend exploring the craft cocktails, our favorite is the Caipirinha. The Caipirinha is Brazil’s national cocktail made with cachaça, sugar and lime. Complete your meal with an alluring dessert, flan never fails. The rich custard dessert is flattering for the eyes (very suitable for Instagram) and for your appetite.

Fogo de Chão was founded in Porto Alegre, Brazil in 1979. There are currently 44 Fogo de Chão restaurants in the United States, Brazil and Mexico. Browse the menu and find a location near you at http://www.fogodechao.com.
