Celebrity Chefs Raise Money For Susan G. Komen At The Culinary Showdown   


John O’Hurley hosted America’s first ever  Culinary Showdown on October 22nd featuring chefs Tyler Florence, Michael Voltaggio, Ben Ford, Elizabeth Falkner and Antonia Lofaso at Lowes Hollywood. The Culinary Showdown is a fundraising event where 50 novice cooks are taught cutlery methods, food preparation and plating to compete in the Showdown. The evening begun with a cocktail reception featuring BeTini spirits.

Team Tyler Florence, Team Michael Voltaggion, Team Ben Ford, Team Elizabeth Falkner and Team Antonia Lofaso cooked up appetizers, a main course and dessert for an esteemed panel of judges. The dishes were judged based on taste and presentation. An auction was held during the cooking challenge intermission, raising money for Susan G. Komen Los Angeles County. Breast cancer survivor and Culinary Showdown Team Tyler Florence participant, Jackie Coco Ford, shared an inspirational speech expressing how the foundation saved her life. At the end of the challenge, Team Tyler Florence won first place.
