The Barnsdall fundraising event on July 16th was a night full of arts, food and entertainment. The fundraiser received generous support by Swarovski, Baxter of California and Bombet Hospitality Group which took place throughout the Park from Hollyhock’s West Lawn to Los Angeles Municipal Art Gallery.
Patrons had an exclusive preview of LA-based artist Aaron Axelrod’s multi-media exhibition, “Dark Matter” which included a Swarovski collaboration art piece with almost 700,000 multi-color crystals.
Guests enjoyed the evening on Hollyhock’s West Lawn that included live musical performances by Treehouse, celebrated violinist James Thompson and renowned pianist Wayne Bethanis. Guests also witnessed Axelrod’s very unique art installation which was a projection mapping the legendary Hollyhock House. Many patrons also took the opportunity to play Pokemon Go at the park to find Pokemon.
The fine culinary experience was catered by Terrine, Faith & Flower, Hanjip, and Viviane. A cocktail menu featuring Bombay Sapphire complimented the cuisine.
